a few questions for the LSX notchback guys
Im thinking about putting a LS1 and a T56 in a 90s mustang notchback. I will continue to search for info, but in the meantime, i have a few questions-
1.) if im going to remove and use my stock LS1 wiring harness, What do/dont I need from it? how much would it cost to send out to someone to go through and remove what i dont need?
2.) What Kmember and headers did you use? It seems like most people go with the AJE LS1 swap kmember and KOOKS LS1 swap headers. I read that the 351 swap headers work with a LS1 header flange, but is it worth the hassle?
3.) What did you do about the fuel system?
To anyone who is gonna say "search" or "google", dont worry im already doing that. I just figured the whole idea of the car forum thing is to help one another, not be a d*ck.

I went with AJE crossmember and 302 shorties with the LS1 flange welded on. Fit is pretty good just tight to the firewall, makes for a PIA when doing exhaust. I did my own harness with help from www.lt1swap.com, wasn't hard just time consuming. I like to do ALL of my own work. The only thing that got sent out was the computer for a tune.
For the fuel system I went with a Walboro external unit and removed the stocker in the tank. Used a corvette filter/regulater setup, simple yet effective.
