Ls1 to ls7 z06 swap

Would the ls6 505hp ls7 v8 out the corvette fit in my 99 trans am with minor mods? Can i still keep the auto trans(b cuz) i hate the manual trans i got the info on the ls6 but i would rather try the ls7

It's GEN III to GEN IV, which has been done time and time again. You may not be able to retain the wet sump setup for packaging reasons, but the engine will go in there no problem
