Default Block Heater plug?

My 5.3l had a block heater kit on it from the factory. It was interfering with my motor mounts so I unbolted it from the block. No I have a hole in the block that needs to be filled otherwise coolant will be pouring out(its about 1.25") Is there a specific block off kit available for this? Or am I going to have to find a very low profile 1.25" bolt?

Just buy the plug from GM. There is a screw in plug that would normally go in there if your car didn`t come equipped with the optional block heater.

Did some more reading and apparently there is a 17mm hex head bolt that should be threaded in there for the vehicles that don't have block heaters. Does anyone have any idea where I would be able to find the name/pn of this?

Whoops should have refreshed before posting again. Ok I guess I will call the dealer in the morning. I was a bit worried thinking there was some sort of freeze plug or something irreversible that had been done to install the block heater. Thanks

Sorry to dig this up from the dead, but does anyone have a part number for this block off plug?? My GM dealer is having a hell of a time locating it. I've been searching like crazy online too

Thanks!

Might be a junkyard item. Or find a blown motor. Its the big brass plug in this picture https://www.summitracing.com/parts/cca-251/all

Thanks, I ended up finding it. GM# 11611351

I probably should have just ordered the kit from Jegs, would have been a little more with international shipping and what not, but my GM dealer had one in stock, so it was handy.

Just needed to describe it in the right terms "block coolant drain plug" not, "the huge shallow 28mm bolt thing that goes where the block heater came out of" lmao
