Default Jeep CJ7 Body on a C4 Chassis powered by LR4

I rebodied a 1984 Corvette with a Jeep CJ7 body. I actually retained the C4 tub and wrapped the Jeep stuff around the outside. Kept the Corvette seats, dash, windshield. I've got a 2001 Silverado 4.8 LR4 and a 4L60E that I will be putting in next. Here are some pics.

Keeping the vette windshield. I'll get more pics. It's got a driver side only roll bar like a Cobra.

I'm hoping to get vanity plates that say JEEPTHG or JPTHING (like those it's a jeep thing bumper stickers. The POS crossfire 350 is rated at 200hp even so the LR4 is quite a bit ahead. I looked high and low to find a 4.8. I like little V8's. Hopin for 25+ mpg on the highway. Maybe do some autox at some point. (That guys gonna flip that Jeep!)

If you look closely from behind you can see the aluminum half shafts and the front wheels are semi-open so you can see the aluminum a arms in the front.

I just want to say that I joined this forum to see this build.

My Jeep will have more flex than yours.

You will get tired of "where is the transfer case" or "how does go in the mud" questions.

It will be nice to do a U-turn at 30mph without ending up on your roof.

Roll bar actually.

and the last time I did donuts in the sand I popped a bead... that's kind of like a U-turn.

Here's a pic of the rollbar. Pics are weak. I'll get some better ones eventually.
