hey guys, help me out here, i am trying to put an LQ9 into a first gen bird. i still have to get a computer and i am wanting to goto a drive by cable throttlebody. has anyone done this and can tell me what throttlebody i can get that will work or suggest a dbw pedal that will work. thanks Tim

i have searched, no luck really... i get conflicting infor more then anything. having the same prob when talking to people about cpu programming also.

The F-body throttle bodies, or the earlier truck throttle bodies are pretty much the same thing and will bolt right onto your intake. Get one of those, a red/blue wiring harness out of a Camaro or earlier truck and get a red/blue connector ECU. You'll have to do some research on the computer and harness, but the throttle body is easy.
