Default Making 6.0 truck manifolds flipped forward/down work in a g-body? Lets here it

im sure there are some people out there that have gotten the manifolds facing forward and down to work in a g-body. I dont mind having to chop the manifold up more towards the ports and welding a pipe on with a more bend to it to make it work and i think i saw a pic of it on here somewhere. So lets hear some ideas and pics on who cut up the manifolds to make them work. I know i can look into having a set of custom ones done but before i go that route im looking to think a little outside the box on making them work.

ill let you know in about a month how this works out.as im doing the same thing with my car. but when i mocked everything up with my current motor. i used a set of ls3 corvette manifolds flipped that had a center outlet facing forward on a 45 they would have hit the frame . you wont have any problems at all with the stock 6.0 manifolds. next time ur out in s.i. give a heads up and ill bring out my car so you can see how it would line up

I will be going 6.0L with truck manifolds flipped forward, I will get some pics when I set the engine in the car, but it seems to fit with possibly cutting into the inner fender wells.

I have a 87 Grand national roller.

passenger side hits the frame rail and driver side spits it out into the power steering box.forward and up is the best you can hope for. most guys put drivers side up and pass side down and notch the rail. i built a log on the pass side.

I'd say get some truck shorty headers, Weld on V-Bands. Welding V-Bands on cast seems like a bit of a task.
