Default Help with DBW 496

Hey guys,

I'm wrapping up an install of a 496 DBW 4l80e into a 55 chevy. I have every connector connected except the 2 knock sensors and O2 sensors. I have eliminated the AC and all emissions equipment with a tune from Mark Romans. I fire the motor up and it idles then slowly raises rpm before i turn it off, while the motor runs there is NO throttle control. When the motor is off the throttle can be actuated with the pedal, but not when it runs.
I thought that maybe the probelm was there was no power to the pedal/throttle body, so i changed the power wire to have 12v in the on/run position and still no change.
Help me out guys!
The pedal/etc/throttle body is all out of the same 01 3500hd

Forgot to mention...there is no BCM in the car, any reason this could pose a problem?
