Default Does a TBi tank work with LSX FI???

Saw this mentioned, have one laying around so I was wondering if this has been proven to work, or if modification is required. I will continue searching on this but so far I can't find pics of this setup.

Thanks in advance.

The tank, itself, will work but the pump won't. You need something that will put out a little more pressure and volume.

I agree, my 89 Iroc-z was originally a TBI car and i'm using the TBI tank with a 255 lph fuel pump and works just fine. When I do the Malibu, i'm most likely going to get a fuel tank out of a TBI monte carlo and throw a bigger pump in.

The Walbro 255 should mount to the TBI sender without any problem.

a TPI Spec system is 47 PSI and the LSx is 57-58 PSI.. that is about the only major differents, Most EFI tanks are baffled to some degree, so most will work with just a pump upgrade.

My 86 elcamino came with the 4.3 fuel injected v6. I changed the pump only and works great.

right on, u guys are very helpful. If any of you have the part number or brand/model names of pumps used in this application I would like to use one that is proven and relatively easy to install.
Thanks for all the help.
