It was on craigslist. Guy had tried to sell it a month before for $3500 and no one took it. I got lucky that I saw it the day he relisted it for $2500, I gave him $300 to bring it to me. He's a Marine about to deploy so he let it go cheap.

I have this 89 GTA



I originally bought it to do an LS1 swap and I have another LS1/t56 sitting on a pallet. That LS1 is the same year as this doner but with 90k miles and I paid $3600 shipped just for that, so this car was a steal.

I realized though that if I do everything I want to this 89 that I'd only be using the body. So rather than ruin a nice GTA with hard to find black leather I want to find a cheap body, build a 9 inch, get all after market suspension, use the engine, trans, wiring, and as much of the interior as possible out of my doner.
