Did a search and did not find anybody that has posted a swap, know it has been done but guess I am going to have to go back to school to learn searching tips.

I have a 40 ford deluxe coupe. No engine or transmission. Hate to put 3-4k into the Flathead and get 150 hp Would love to slip a 4.8/5.3- 200R4 combo in it.

I've got a long-term (retirement) project, '47 Ford coupe with '03 C-5 engine and 200R4 trans. The frame is finished and I've stopped there for now...
