Yes, it will fit. It will also hang down well below everything else under your car.

technically.. a LS1 pan is different from a truck pan.. (LM7, LH8, LQ4/9, etc).

Most who use a LS1 F-body pan will require a notch in the front of the lower sump. some have move the engine back enought to clear, but that cause fitment problems with the firewall and trans tunnel.

A truck pan will fit better on the cross memeber, but will hang up to 2 plus inches lower that a F-Body below the cross member.. depending on how high you mount the engine.

You can also try a LH8 (Hummer) pan, which is used on the GM Muscle pan kit. but it also hang down under the cross member some, CTS-V pan is just a little bit better.

In General, the "Truck pans" will hang below the cross member, even with mounting the engine higher. And the higher the engine sits...the more problems you have with Firewall, Trans Tunnel and engine/trans tilt (3-5 degrees)

You can try using any plate with Tall and Narrow mounts to get a little bit higher, but it would not be enough in my option..

After market pans, both steel ones and the RetroLX cast pan are very good on clearance.

See the faq at the top of this section on pans. That might help some.
