Default Vette P.S. Pulley Slips On The Shaft-What's The Cure?

Squeeks that drive you crazy, lol. My power-steering pulley is slipping on the pumps shaft & squeeking too much. Anyone have a cure for this? I have removed the pulley before & red Loctited it, but it did'nt last. Is there a way to drill & pin them, or? Thanks for the input.

I have repaired similar things before by using a center punch and "dotting" the shaft all over, this raises the surface area and stops the pulley slipping. use more loctite when refitting.

That is a good idea that I have used for a different application with good results.
You could drill and tap a hole in the flange of the pulley for a set screw as well.

I did this to a harmonic balancer on an old 327 that didn't have a bolt that held it on, worked like a charm!
