Default AJE 4L60e trans crossmember for Mustang Fox

Has anyone used this part? I have searched and everything I have read tells me everybody is making their own crossmember for the 4l60.. Wondering how it fits and if it has enough room to tuck the exhaust up nicely.

AJE site shows the MU-7050 to work on PG, th350, 700r4, 4l60e, c4, aod, and the c6 transmissions.

Anybody have any pics they could share as I haven't seen any in my searching?

Thanks!

My buddy has one and it looks real nice but he used the wrong tailshaft on his th400 so I don't think he is gonna be using it. It does look like it will clear the exhaust no problem.

Gotcha well I'm sure that fit would be about the same. It is very similar in profile as the factory member but I would say that aje would clear the exhaust better.

I just used my ford double hump factory x member. Cut the tack welds on the bushings shell so I could slide it back n forth. Then I took some angle iron cut it to length and used one side of factory mount then welded the angle on the other side drilled a hole and bolted it up

I have an AJE 4l60e crossmember. At least the guy i bought it from told me it was lol. I Dont have any pics here and the car is being worked on at my parents house since my dad has lots of tools. Apparently you have to call aje and order the crossmember because its not listed on there site. Ill be able to get you a pic maybe tomorrow or saturday for sure.

Ill try searching the forum to see if the guy i bought it from still has a pic of it up.

I have an aje crossmember for a 4l60e in a fox and it did not work.

I had to modify it.

I switched to a turbo 400 so if u need it and also an aluminum driveshaft i will sell you both

X2 I called jegs and ordered the aje crossmember, shipped it to me and it didn't even come close so I called aje to verify the part # jegs sold me and they said jegs sold me the wrong one and gave the the correct part # I needed to order from jegs.

Well after returning it and getting the one that aje said was correct it still didn't fit about 3/4 of an inch off so I got pissed and just modified mine also.

I am running a 4l60e in a fox with a aje k-member too.

I ordered my cross member off summit racing, mu 7050.

Matched the part number from aje's site bolted in perfect.

My upr k member has 2 slots for mounts, I had to put the mounts in the front slot but other than that it was straight forward. How are people having these problems?
