Have questions: to Autokraft pans and G-bodies Greetings all,
So I finally got the long block 5.3/4L80E sat in with a little wiggling and have a few questions I hope you can help me with.
G-body stuff:
1. What are you using for dipsticks? Lokar? stock truck? Corvette? F-body?
2. The stock 5.3 dipstick hits my AC box, has anyone else ran into this problem? I haven't tried bending it yet because of how late it was when we finally dropped in the engine.
Autokraft pan:
3. Just want to make sure that it holds 5qts of oil with the filter that is recommended on the adapter box?
4. For guys that have used this pan did your pickup tube run almost right under your dipstick or did I install it wrong somehow?
