Default 71 Firebird 6.0 T-56 swap

Here's a rundown. I've got a 71 Firebird, ex drag car being turned into a street/strip car. Doing a 427ci solid roller, dry sumped, et headed swap mated to a viper spec T-56. I've already got some 2inch swap headers from BRP. I did a search and saw someguys were having some trouble with their swap kits from BRP. So at this point is there anybody else that has a kit that will still work with the BRP 2inch primary headers? The engine is going to turn right around 9k rpms so i prefer solid mounts. Any suggestions?

Also what is everybody with the 6speed swapped 2nd gens doing for a clutch hydrolic setup? I found the kit from ATS (American Touring Specialties) but i'm not sure if it would be best considering what i'm doing is more on the radical side. And what is everyone doing for center consoles? Will the factory manual center console work? Anyone tried anything different with the stock dash that looked decent? More or less just looking for ideas.

I'll get some pictures up soon as i get a little farther along.

nope, im using the factory clamshell mounts, theres a company that I believe starts with an S that sells the solid frame mounts, or you could make them if you wanted...... just a piece of 1/2 pipe welded to a flat plate with some holes in it....

I don't know who made mine. I bought a roller 79 that hsa solid small block chevy mounts still attached to the frame. When I get a chance I'll look and see if there is a name stamped in it.

What about fitment and where the engine sits realative to everything else? I'm just wondering if the BRP kit move the engine placement at all to make the headers work? I hate to have the headers not fit and then have problems with the transmission crossmember and everything else.

Going to bring this back from the dead... Transmission is built, shortblock is together, cam is in. Just waiting to put the heads on and modify the supervictor to have a 4500 flange. Just bought some 04 GTO seats and i'm wondering if anyone has retrofitted a newer console in a 2nd gen car?

I do have pictures of it i can share.

I still have a lot of work to do on it but so far i think it's turning out pretty nice.

Excuse the picture quality as they were taken with my cell phone. And that is a 4500 flange for anyone who's wondering.
