Default my daily driver LS1 240sx build

UPDATE 5/29/12: Did not like how this build turned out (long story). Sold the car, all the swap parts, and started over fresh with another 240 and swap kit. New build thread: https://ls1tech.com/forums/conversio...l#post16361684

New pics time

Engine bay with half diassembled KA, begging to be removed

Front 5 lug and new wheels installed

my redneck potato, no power low tech pushrod lump... as what some (slow) people call it lol

Oh lookie an M12 geared elusive T56 sitting behind it

Mmmm front accessory's, with serpentine drive and an alternator with nearly double the output of the SR/KA/RB pieces, and a convenient RH mounted a/c compressor that will make for a short a/c low side line.

my actual kouki front, just needs some good paint but you get the idea :]

i just drove one of these for a buddy who wants to do a swap; its really an understatement to say these are tough to find in decent condition, haha.

Its definitely a fun car with an LS in it. I went from an LS1 to a Mast Motorsports L92 HO and now I'm ready for another power upgrade lol. You must improve the braking on these cars though. I see you are doing Q45 brakes. Those should be adequate. I run Z32 calipers front and rear with the front on 350Z rotors and they stop like crazy. You also might want to look into doing the Q45 differential swap for the better gearing. With the stock 4.08 rear diff and the T56 first gear is pretty much useless unless you want to make lots of tire smoke lol.

Kouki S14 front ends are the **** for sure. LS1 + S14 = heck of a fun-sounding daily driver... wish it were mine!!!

Keep us posted with lots of delicious pictures!!

Thanks guys, no new pics yet but my order on the stuff to make the headers and motor mounts should be arriving soon so ill get some pics up soon.

I plan on putting in the q45 diff, just haven't bought it yet so that's why its not posted in the first thread yet. I actually paid for some r32 skyline brakes but the seller in japan never shipped them out so i just got my money back, really want the r32 brakes over the z32 brakes because they are a little bigger so the q45 brakes are just temporary until i can find another set of skyline brakes :]

Joe,
You have a 240 dude. Once you finish your Nova, swap a LSx into it. I think I like the looks of yours better than his 95. Are the newer ones drive much better?
