Igot a 2003 Ford ranger 4 cyl 5 speed regular cab short box with a 4/5 drop and a bone stock 5.3 truck motor. wats the best route maunal or auto. Any proir ranger build would be nice and any comments,opinions, or info is welcome

I don't know how it will be with a ls engine, but thebford engines you have to kinda clearnce the firewall and cut a notch in the rad support to fit things in. Finding headers to fit might be hard, truck manifolds might hit frame rails, but best way is to try several sets to find best set up. There was several questions over on the ranger forums, might have been ranger station that had several discusions, but most over there thought it sacrligious of an idea.
