Default How do you tell if the engine harness is a 98?

I bought a harness off here thinking it was for a 02 and it may be. The harness has 98C Ls1 in grease pen wrote on both the PCM connectors. The guy I bought it from also threw in the under dash harness and it has 02 LS1 wrote on the big connectors on it. He isn't sure if it is a 98 or 02, he has no idea as he bought them used.

How can I tell if it is a 98 harness?

Thanks In Advance!!!

That works, but sometimes the harness has a few tweaks. Another slam dunk method is to pop the PCM covers off and look for a black wire in the #1 and 40 (far ends) pins on both connectors. Delphi kept the corner grounds from 99 to the introduction of GEN IV control
