Does the truck (LQ4, LQ9, LY6 etc) idler pulley fit on the 4th gen F-body alternator bracket?

No, it won't work. It's too big and the belt wouldn't go on between the PS pulley water pump and idler. Not to mention they mount with different bases.

Now to try and find an F-body idler. Apparently they've been discontinued through GM. Found some new old stock on eBay, but I'm guessing I can find a cheaper source.

Have you tried your local auto parts store? Seems like a part that should be readily available.

I have been looking for the same pulley for 4 days now and I have been to just about every autozone, advancedauto, and oreillys around and none of them seem to have it. Im about to go to one more oreilly and see if they have it.

had to replace mine with an autozone one. but i think it was just the pulley no bolt or washer
