Newer 6speed console in 2nd gen f-body?

Newer 6speed console in 2nd gen f-body? I've saw pictures of complete interior swaps, dash, seats, center consoles and all in 2nd gen's but never just the center console. I just recently bought some heated red GTO seats to put in my 71 and i'm wanting to find a 6speed console from a newer GTO to put in it as well and modernize everything but really don't want to go through the trouble of chaning the stock dash as well. Anybody tried this with any success?
