Default Fox body guys, what oil pan?

I have a PA racing k-member with the modified motor mounts and currently have a truck pan on my 5.3 in there for mock up and i need more clearance by the steering rack and of course i cant have the sump hang down 4inches below the crossmember.

What are you guys using? F-body or ls2?

i just laid my ls1 into my fox the other day, and the corvette pan with MINOR mods fits...the drain plug was resting on the K member, i capped off the drain hole and welded in a bung on the bottom of the pan...tons of ground clearance...otherwise everyone uses the fbody pan

Its works but it hangs down way too low for most to be comfortable with. Unless you are building a strictly drag car dont go with the CTS-V pan.

This is what I did. I cut it real nice 1 1/5 inches and I had my neighbor weld the pan, and to be honest I would not use it to plant flowers. The welds are embarrassing, it leaks, and took a month to get back.

So my plan is to put it in the car for mockup, and guess what, its the same depth as the gmpp muscle car pan. I will take pics when its in. I might be trying the Gmpp m/c pan.

I bought a CTSV pan from partstaxi for 230 shipped with dipstick new pick up and new windage tray, gasket. it was literally hanging out of the box when i got it though. I am missing bolts and it is scratched to hell. They threw it in a box with all the parts and gasket and bolts, and taped the box shut, no paper or packing materials at all. I got it yesterday.
