Best 6 speed LS combo for swap--LS3/6060 or L92/T56? I am trying to sell my LT-1/T-56 setup now to finally do the LS upgrade

So I'm trying to understand the best options to go manual w/LS. I know that I have to change my LT1 style 6 speed, which is why its for sale. But I don't know what the new 6060 is all about. Seems like I could just get an L92 and buy a used LS T-56 for a good bit cheaper than the LS3/6060 takeouts from 2010 camaros I see on ebay. But is there some advantage to the newer 6060 I am not considering? Haven't been able to find much on the web; appreciate any counsel.
Also, anybody that has done either of these swaps in an A-body, can you chime in specifically?
