Default Does anyone know the weight of a 4l80e

I am doing a LQ4/ 4L80e and I know the motors are pretty much a wash , Gen 1 with aluminum heads, and intake, but I wanted to know the weight difference between a 350 turbo and a 4l80e.

Dealing with the same thing, I looked it up - but don't remember where. It was somewhere in the neighborhood of 60-80 lbs heavier than a T350. I think the 4L80E is around 225lbs (with converter). Moving it around my garage, that sounds about right.

225 seems to ring a bell with me as well. It's a tank.

236 dry, 260 wet w/ converter, per the service manual. here's a link comparing that to a TH350, as-weighed.
