Default Alternator help

I got my Ls engine intalled and the alternator is low mount on the driver side.Is there a cheaper way to mount it high on the pass side?

You might try the corvette front drive system. Google search GM 19155067 and look for a listing that shows the included part numbers. I don't know what you've got already, but a good portion might interchange, so you might be able to get away just buying a bracket or two. Two caveats: It requires a Corvette balancer and I think the corvette alternator is slightly different in terms of where bolts line up.

Can anyone clarify?

There are aftermarket setups you can get as well.

Its not cheap but Speed Inc sells a kit to mount the alternator high on the passenger side.
