4.8 ls and T56 into 240sx??? Been trying to research info on this swap. Getting tired of my KA and have been contemplating doing a swap. Wanting to do something different, and wanting it to be a swap that is N/A, not turbo...for now 
Would have loved to do the great LS1 swap, but I don't have that kind of money right now.
The 4.8 engine would be a good fit for my S14 and puts out some good numbers. Furthermore, power to weight ratio I will automatically gain more too. Will also be running a T56 instead of a 5 speed.
My only pain that I would run into would be the wiring,
Is there anyone on here that would have the know-how on wiring the 4.8 motor with the T56. And then from there the motor/tranny with the 240sx wiring? Anyone got any ideas? This is really my only dead on that I came to on my drawing board.
