Default Doorman QC's on a Corvette FPR. Removal???

I used the Doorman quick connects as shown at the bottom of the first page here
https://ls1tech.com/forums/conversio...or-filter.html

Everything went on great, only problem is there isn't enough room to get the tool to release the quick connects on the hard line. Not sure how I'm going to get these off when it's time to change the FPR. Even looking at the pictures of the Russell QC I don't see as I could get the removal tool to work.

Anyone else have this problem? If not, what quick clip removal tool are you using specifically?

No tools required. Push the line towards the filter and push the black ring towards the line and pull it off. The Russel ones push the line towards the filter and squeeze the plastic tabs together and pull the line off.

Wow, that's easy. Now I feel dumb.

Thanks
