Default 66 gto with LS-1

I am having a problem maybe someone has more info. I am putting LS-1 with T56 in a 1966 lemans I bought new front springs MOOG 6204 rated 2015, upper A frames are on the bumper and don't move until I jump my 215 lbs on frame springs should have a 11 inch ride height I have 14 inch ride ht I think it is car weight problem but if anybody has done this swap what spring did you use any help would be appreciated

Check for this mistake that I myself made along with many other people who have replaced their front springs. If you are not careful you may not get the spring completely seated in the upper spring pockets. If you miss the pocket the front suspension will sit 1 1/2" or more higher than it should.
