Hey guys iam doin another swap this time lq9 in a s10 i have some questions my first swap wasnt that bad the lq9 i bought came with the electronic throttle body dont know what i need to run this the motor came with ecm and tach module and pedal is that all i need? I thought it would of came with a 4l80e flexplate but it didnt i plan on running 4l80e tranny but looks like flexplate on it only has a 3 bolt pattern like 60e. Just trying to figure out what tranny tune would be on the ecm. And last has anyone on here had any luck with making there own swap headers or know of a good company that does. Well thanks guys ill try to put pics up soon

Check out the lsx (sticky) section on s10forum.com... Lots of answers there. The trans and dbw are up to you- depending on how much money you want to spend and how tech you are. If you cant (or dont want to) get to technical call up Jared at Current Performance.

Are you going 4x4 or 2 wheel drive? There are 2 wheel drive headers available, there are also 4x4 headers available but you need a body lift kit and special engine mounts that raise the engine up to allow a oil pan to clear the front diff.
