Default lsx in 95 firebird.

A 408 lsx engine converted to carb, running a msd ignition box. Will it work?

Considering I have a few parts.
ls1 k-member
Proper lsx transmisson
rack and steering
fuel pump

I wanted to go lt1, but I'm just going to take a couple steps pass ls1.

It should not be much of a problem.

I've researched quite a bit. Running a carbed lsx with a MSD ignition ( no dist). Proper k-member, transmisson, radiator lines, fuel pump with a ls1 steering rack.

If I go this way (carbed set up) Will I need the speartech plug and play harness, or will the ecu not be needed? Also will my stock gauges remain working?

Sorry about the stupid questions.. Just trying to get information needed to start ordering parts.

If you run the carb, you do not need the ecu.....however your gages will not work if you do that.
