Default 2000 Firebird V6 to L33

i have a few questions, first i have been coming to this thread for a while only to realized i never made a account lol at me, ok i have bought a 2000 firebird v6, i am wanting to put a L33 with an Ls7 head, hooker headers and a ram air conversion, im wanting to know about how much horsepower im going to have, i got the engine for 300$ and im lookin for a t56, another ? i have is will the t56 bolt right up to the L33,

LS7 heads won't fit on a 5.3. The bore on a 5.3 is too small to clear the huge LS7 valves.

A T56 will bolt right up.

There's no way of telling how much HP you'll have without more info. What cam? What intake? Gonna raise the compression?

L33 should have come with 799 (same as LS2/6 243's) heads correct? If so I'd stick with those if you're planning on using GM heads. LS7 heads wont even come close, as won't L92/LS3 heads (due to the valve size). The 799's (again, same as 243's) are the best cathedral port GM heads your going to find, without obviously going aftermarket. The T56 *should* bolt up, but it comes down to the output flange. What year is the engine out of? $300 is a good deal for an L33.

HP all depends on what heads/cam/intake you use. You are going to be at a slight disadvantage though to an 5.7 LS1/6. Look at what others are doing in the GEN3 engine forum.
