Power steering pulley help please.

Power steering pulley help please. Hi guys I am swapping a LS2 from a 05 GTO and I ran into a a little problem trying to use a 04 GTO power steering pump with a F-body pulley. The diameter of the F-body pulley is too big which makes the belt unable to reach the tensioner, and the pulley does not go back far enough on the shaft.
I can get a 05 GTO power steering pulley for $16. Or spend $90. for a 04 pulley. My question is will the 05 pulley work? I have searched for the pulley diameters online to see if they are the same, but no luck. Thanks for looking!
