No dyno numbers yet. I need to work on a few things before I get that done.

The tires in the most recent pics are 255/40/17 Yokohama A048. I bought that setup used, and the tires are old so they don't hook up like they should. I will be replacing those tires soon.

Very nice setup, I'm building up an ls1 with lingenfelter z06 heads and a decent cam for my e36 right now. Somber stuff looks killer. I was looking at the vorshlag mounts and using the new edelbrock oilpan. But for the money the samberg kit looks way better. Only difference in my build is I'm going with either a 4L80 or 60 and doing a paddle shift kit so it looks more like an M swap with the hood closed

eh, it's a toss up on options, i've seen like 4 custom build headers/mounts setups in person and two kits in person and run the samberg kit.

I really wish the fitment was better and the subsequent vibration was less but it has a good list of strong points as well.

I wish I knew of a local shop that could build custom headers and mounts. I like the Samberg kit, but like Tong stated, it would be nice to have a little less vibration and NVH. Not to mention dealing with the fitment issues of the Samberg. Vorshlag makes a nice kit and do not know of any fitment issues with their kit. I am curious what the price will be on the JTR kit.

BTW, I got the car weighed as it sits now and it came out to 3215 with 1/2 tank of gas. I have not done any weight reduction yet.

ls1fst98, good luck with your swap!

Got a few issues straightened out, and the car is running great. Still need to replace most of the bushings in the rear, and looking to do that soon.

Here is a quick vid:

Thanks.

Vibrant metallic core cats, Magnaflow resonated X-pipe muffler, and a cheap 2.5" dual "Ebay" E36 cat-back. Overall, it's not loud, and it's not quiet. Just somewhere in the middle.

Some updates. I sold the LS1 and dropped in an LS3. Still using the LS1 computer along with the Lingenfelter converter box.

The car runs great and put down 443/425 SAE with an awesome tune from Geoff at Next Level Performance. Having some clutch issues, so I am in the process of replacing the clutch master, clutch pedal and bushings, as well as the stainless line. Hopefully will have it on the road in soon after I get my parts.

Spent some time cleaning up the wiring under the hood and de-stickering. I plan on shaving the brackets and painting the engine bay. For now, here it is in the raw.

I got the intake piping from this seller on ebay:

It worked out great for my setup.

In regards to the Samberg kit, what were the fitment issues?

I talked to JTR yesterday. Still no release dates on mounts, headers or brake booster adapter parts.
