All that said, the engine weighs at least 100lbs lighter and about 100 more hp, bone stock.

i will be glad to help in any way possible... We don't have emissions in SC, so we didn't do anything. I know Greg knows how to make a car Cali and DC emissions legal (probably the most strict emissions in the country). He's done 40-50 RX7 swaps, probably more than any single person on the planet. He just got a site up pezperformanceDOTcom. I know he said he is still working on the site, so don't judge it too hard. lol. He is the guy who did my conversion.

I have my swap up and running with a set of shorty headers and am looking for a set of LT's that aren't $600, you guys have any suggestions? Thinking about buying a kit from JEG's to weld up my own.

You could find a set of used Windsor LT headers, hack the flanges off and weld on some LS1 flanges and your good to go. Hope that helps

Since your car is a '99 SN95 chassis I would go with the foxbody LT windsor headers. The Foxbody & SN95 are pretty much the same platform. What K member are you going with?

I used foxbody shorties, but now want LT's and was a little unsure of chassis because I saw LT's for foxbody and SN95 models.
