Default What are my MAF options for L96/LY6?

When I got my engine, the MAF was toast from the wreck, so I need to get a new one. I'm still not sure what I want to do WRT to the air inlet (may try to figure out how to use the ram air hood), but the stock MAF at Rockauto is pretty large. I see earlier LS installs with just a thin metal MAF that can go between two rubber tube pieces; if I can find one that will work and have the right late model (2010) connector, that would give me the most options. I will be having the computer tuned for cam swap if that increases my trade space.

What can I do to get a small (in length, not necessarily diameter!) MAF that will work?

Thx

You might try S&P, Speartech, or Schwanke for a truck MAF to the LS3 style MAF conversion.
