I'm putting a GMPP LS3 into a 69 GMC and want to add on an aftermarket AC setup. I will be running the GMPP Corvette accessories (kit 19155067), and I've found (limited) conflicting information about the AC compressor on LS engines and their compatability with Vintage Air's system. I've requested quotes from a variety of sources and either nobody gives two shats about doing business or there is some validity to LS compressors not working with VA's kits (which is the only other reason I can think of that nobody is anyswering my quote requests). The AC compressor supplied with the accessory kit is 88958093. I was really hoping to do the Vintage Air setup with a Dakota Digital control, but I guess if there are other alternatives I'll have to look at, so be it. But beyond the AC I'd really like a digital control if at all possible.

I'd really appreciate if anybody could point me in the right direction here.

The cost difference between VA kit with compressor and without is not much. Get the kwik brackets and use the VA compressor and you will have no worries!
