Default Drive by wire throttle question

I'm putting an LS Gen4 from a 2007 Silverado into my '80 Jeep CJ7. Got everything figured out and have almost completed the install. Just waiting for the wiring/computer to return from being re-worked. My question is this; Does the throttle pedal assembly HAVE to come from the same vehcile as the donor engine? I'm keeping the drive by wire set up and am having a hard time getting the throttle pedal assembly from the guy I bought the engine from-he's just too busy with more important things. So can I get a different pedal and wire form any Chev pickup or are they VIN specific.? Thanks in advance. I have learned TONS form this website!
