1995 camaro ls1 swap ?'s ok i know that theres been a million write ups on this swap. but the reason i ask is because i have lots of parts lying around that i think will work in the swap and just want to know if they will or not. ok heres the project:
1995 camaro convertible 6 banger auto
ls1 motor, truck oil pan, truck acc bracket, ps, alt truck style as well. I also will be getting a ls truck harness with the motor. i still have the old wiring harness from the car as well. Plan on going t56 with a 9" outback as well.
ok can i use my k member and modify (hack it up) to work with the ls1 and truck oil pan? i seen where someone cut the complete center section out (the crossmember under the pan part) and put in a 2" or 3" peice of box in there instead..? if i get the ls1 complete motor mounts ( block and k member, both peices) bolt up to my existing K member? also since im already posting... anyone have a pinout of the truck harness and if i need any peices of my original harness? would i be able to wire the auto harness for the t56 ?
