Default Anybody know of a short 3/8in fuel line connector w/male to male ends?

I will be using an Impala tank and the corvette fuel filter/FPR, w/single line to the front. I was thinking of having a guy fab up some custom nylon lines and everything is good w/the exception of all his connectors will be female and the output of the corvette FPR is also female. I need a short section of male-male fuel line to connect this, just like this one but short.

Anybody know of a source for something like this?

Like this.

I searched for an 05 impalla and didn't come up with anything. I found that when I searched for 02 camaro. You may have to look through the filters a little at the parts store.

Any concern that the filter sitting down stream the fpr would have a pressure drop that would affect engine operation?

I used this http://www.summitracing.com/parts/RUS-640940/ and combined it with a barbed hose end AN fitting.

I've been running the double fuel filter on my swap for 3 years without any reduced pressure problems.

Dorman part number 800-155. Summit and Jegs should sell it.

That one is 12" long. I think he means more like just long enough to put the connectors on.

Take that Dorman 800-155 part, cut some of the length out of the middle of it, flare both sides and connect them using a 3/8" brass union. You can get the union at any auto parts store. I did this to put that end on my existing 3/8 fuel line and it works great. The union supports WAY more than the 100 psi your fuel system would ever put out. I also did the same thing to splice 2 power steering hoses together at the hardline. for my LS swap.

How much? I'm looking for one about 3in...just long enough to easily fit the little tool to release the connector when need arises.

I clipped two 3/8" male ends off of a car at the junkyard and had a custom line made.

Well, I got a little connector which should work fine. Paid $12 to a guy on ebay. Probably easy to make if have the right tool, but not worth it to buy the tool for one connector. If anyone else needs one like this, his email is nickelson79@yahoo.com

Thanks to other offers above.

Pics below.

If that's what you wanted why didn't you just buy the WIX 33100?

Search costs and true uncertainty. Seriously--I obviously had no clue that this was available--thought only the corvette fpr/fuel filter worked.

I searched for '02 Camaro and '05 Impala and couldn't come up with that. Since I'm running a return line, I don't need the 'Vette FPR/Filter setup. A filter with quick connects on both ends would work for me. Anyone know what application uses that setup?
