Default my fox body clutch master instal (pics)

when i decided to pull the 400 out of my mustang and swap in a 6 speed, i read all about the master cylinder and different ways of installing it. Here is how i did it. I picked up a pedal assembly out of a turbo coupe. At first look it appeared that it was going to be a simple swap, till i tried to slide the heim joint over the pin on the pedal assembly. It did not fit. After i was done grinding down the pin, it was way too thin for my comfort. So i cut it off, flattened the mount, and drilled a hole. Put a bolt trough it and nylon lock nut holding the heim joint off the master in place. Im pretty sure you can do these mods to the stock mustang 5 speed pedals after you take the clutch quadrant off.

At this point i welded up a couple of brackets to the pedal assembly to hold the master in place. I re threaded the shaft on the master and cut it down to fit. The master doesnt come close to the header like ive seen before. All in all in was not too bad, just time consuming.
