Default 5.3l/turbo 350 newbie question possibly

Im new to this site but i have been looking around,

Im droppin a 2000 5.3l into a 79 chevy 4x4 scottsdale and i planned on sticking with my turbo 350'trans, i havent found out what i need to do this??

The 5.3l flexplate?
My old flexplate?
Conversition flex plate?

If anyone can help that would be great. Thanks

Another question i forgot was...

I have the wiring harness for under the hood along with under hood fuse block.
I want to get the hook up in the cab for chipping and code readers. I couldnt find out what i needed to get? Do i need the cab fuse block? Or has anyone done this And can explain

You will need an obdII port info on lt1swap.com or can send your harness out and ask them to add that when they make it stand alone. I have also seen where you can buy them for like $20. You can use the 5.3 flexplate but will need the spacer couple options on which one and will have to redrill a hold on flex plate. Or if you are willing to spend the money the conversion flexplate would work great also. You could also get new torque converter that will allow you to bolt everything up. There is a lot of good info on here sometimes it can be tough to find but keep searching and you will find lots of info.
