Default 67 Nova pics

Here's a few pics of the LS1/4L60E swap.

Heidt Superide front clip.
Heidt 4 link in the rear. 9" Ford with 3.50 gears.
FLT trans and yank 3200 converter.
LS1 with eagle rods, diamond pistons and AFR 205 heads.
Autometer gauges.
C5 brakes all around from Kore3.
Sanderson headers 1.75.
SEM Hot Rod Satin black.
Eagle Alloys 18x8 all around.

Goes down the road very nice. Pulls nice and straight from a dead stop and the steering is very tight.

Needs a little squeak and rattle debug yet.

Looking forward to summer if it ever gets here.

Thanks for everyones help.

Answers to a few questions:

1. The engine and trans came with the car. It was a pig in the poke. Supposed to have been low miles but was a little beat upon detailed inspection. See the pic below of when I bought it. The install by others was a mess. Didn't run.

2. Thought about black hinges but where do you stop with the black?

3. Ride height? Has a slight rake towards the front. Heidt reccomends the lower A-arms level a ride height. There slightly "up" now lowering the car a bit. Maybe next winter drop spindles.

4. Brakes are good. Very progressive. Just not boosted so you do have to push. It will lock them at speed. I need to check the vacuum level. I may be able to run a booster. Didn't want to hydro boost unless I really needed it.
Talk to Tobin at KORE3, he knows his stuff about brakes.

The 3200 yank converter really makes a difference. Under light throttle you don't really know it's there but when you nail it comes up to 3200 rpm right now.
