LMAO normally I would agree. More motor, more turbo, lighter car, better suspension. If you cant take down a 76mm Supra it must be broken

In all honesty its a sick *** build! I cant wait to see it. Id like to do something similar but with a lenco and a SBC

Nice car! But I really wanted to say thanks for welding and puttying a couple hundred holes in that engine compartment - SWEET! I'm so sick of seeing Fox-bodies with Swiss-cheese looking inner fenders. Although the extra air flow might keep the temps down a few degrees...

Yeah, this process sucks. I'm about halfway done with mine & have found new respect for those of you who have been thru this. Anyway, what paint did you use for the firewall & inner fenders after all the patchwork? I'm thinking of using POR-15.

The end paint was rustoleum satin black. I wanted something that I could touch up easy.

Whats the part number on that transmission? It looks like it put the shifter right where it should be.

it wasnt the trans that made that happen. I have 3 friends with ls swap mustangs. One of them found out by accident that if you flipped the motor mounts it moved the trans forward putting the shifter in the hole and making the bellhousing bolts accessible from the top!

I bought the trans and bellhousing from the source here on tech!
