Default 69 chevelle LQ9 questions

I am putting an LQ9 6.0 litre in a 69 chevelle. I am using the original ECM and wire harness. My intent is to put the 155K motor in front of my turbo 400 as is, learn to tune the EFI and try to bceome fairly proficient at it. When it dies I will rebiuld it.I will be posting a bunch of questions as I go, The first one I have is when you take the EGR junk off what are you using to block the hole on the pass side of the truck manifold?

I used a piece of metal that looks more or less like the plastic cap of a shaving gel can. Think it was $6 on ebay but it has a dorman part no on it so I'm sure it's available elsewhere.

Did you use anything to seal it or just an interference fit?

Just make a small block off out of some 1/8 steel plate. Bolt it to the manifold with a stock gasket. It wont leak.
