need transmition help i am putting an ls 5.3 in a 71 vw bug on an s10 chassis. almost done but went to bolt up my th400 the other day and the converter bolts dont really line up.?????. what do i need to get or do? hopefully i can use something from another car /motor to make this work im getting way over budget now and just want this done. thanks

If you do a search, I know there is info on the flexplate from the Express and Savannah vans that work with the 5.3 and your transmission. TCI makes a conversion flywheel but it is pricey. Here is one link that discusses it
