Default Convert GMPP LS2 harness from 58x to 24x?

Hi Folks, forgive me if this is a simple question.

Is it possible to convert the harness/pcm from the GMPP ls2 kit (19166568) to be used on a 24x DBW gto motor?

I have the complete original harness and pcm but considering I need a new MAF and a pedal the GM kit is very attractive. I don't want to get into swapping wheels so I am wondering if there is a way to make the harness work with my motor.

Thanks

It will be a LOT cheaper to just find a good used pedal and maf.

I agree with LS1MCSS or go with aftermarket setup.

here's how i figure it... I can get the gm harness fairly cheaply, around 800.

getting my harness reworked is going to cost me 500 bucks and I still need a pedal and a maf. not to mention the fact that if i go with the gm harness i can sell my gto harness.

I guess it's also just proof of concept i'm interested in... what is required to change a 58x harness to a 24x harness. Is it just swapping out the connectors on the cam and crank sensors and a reflash of the pcm or something more involved. the pcm in the pix of the kit seems to have the same connectors so maybe i could swap out my factory pcm with the kit one.

The GMPP harness comes with an E67 ECU. I don't believe that the E67 ECU is even able to work with a 24 tooth setup. It would almost be easier to install a 58 tooth reluctor wheel in your engine.

You are correct. The GMPP harness is an E67 which WILL NOT work on a 24x setup. You need to either run your GTO E40 computer or run a 411 style pcm (recommended). Also, the connectors look similar but they are different. Pedal will not work either. We can give you a brand new harness for that application for $499 (dbc) or $529 (dbw). Pedal is $200, MAF varies.
