Default Lsx into 2nd gen?

I been thinking about picking up a totaled or high mileage 4th gen so I can swap everything into a 2nd gen.
So this way I have everything I need instead of hunting Down parts.
Will the drivetrain, electronics and fuel be a direct swap or with few medications?

What about suspension & brakes?

should be a pretty easy swap. there is a motor mount/trans mount kit for these that work with the f-body pan for a direct bolt in which is nice. i've got a 78 im juy dieing to start on lol

I put a 2004 GTO motor in my 2nd gen in 2006.

It was not an easy swap back then or cheap.
There's an ASSLOAD more options today then there was back then.
My Alternator relocation kit from Street and Performance was an *** raping $550 iirc.
Better solutions to this problem are available today for pittman arm clearance.

Nastyz28.com is the forum for 2nd gens and there's a High tech retrofits section.
Go in there and you'll see a buttload of 2nd gens with LSX swaps.
