I am looking to by a g force crossmember for my 1980 Trans am and I was wondering if the edelbrock motor mounts that I have will put the trans mission in the stock location. My trans is a 4l80e so I dont want to buy a $300 crossmember and still drill holes. Does anyone here have this set up

im not sure --- why not buy a full kit? im going to order a BRP A-body conversion kit soon.

Yes, if they are the 1" Set back plates. They would move the engine flange back to where the stock TH350/TH400 bellhousing Flange would meet the engine.

Yeah, 1" setback's. As you view an picture of the plates, the Bottom bolt hole is about 1" forward of the lower / front mounting boss location of the engine.

I use them as a template for my plates that I made from 1/2" alum plates.
