Default 5.3 into 74 nova ss

I just joined and just started my build as well. Putting a 5.3 into my nova wit a pat g cam, ls1 intake, ported throttle body, ls7 lifters, and long tubes. Here's pics

Wow so just happened to find my old build thread here that I totally forgot about lol I didn't stick to any of this aside from the cam lol. Car has been running now for about 6 months or so although I just recently started really driving it as it finally started cooling down a bit here in phx.
Basic breakdown of the car is I ditched the fuel injection Idea and went carburated.

Took the car out to a local meet and saw this pop up online and thought it was pretty cool.

Car is running pretty good now made some minor adjustments to the carb and it runs great. I might need to rebuild my tranny as it does leak pretty good and seems to slip a little up top. Also planning to pick up a posi rear end hopefully end of this week and throw that in there and i'm sure that will help a little with putting the power down.

here was the first start up. This was open headers so it was obnoxiously loud

yea this was my first car since i was 17 so there is no way i'm getting rid of this now.

Lol, I slid some bullets over my headers for my first start in the current project.
