Default how do i know which motor mounts i need?

swapping a ls2 into my 72 Chevelle originally a SBC car. I Have the edelbrock plates how do I know which mount I need to attach frame stand to engine? I'm using the cts-v pan also if that helps. Thanks

Are you asking about tall/narrow vs short wide motor mounts?
If so, go to energy suspension site, it gives mount dimensions.
Most have also used a 1/4" spacer for better pan clearance.

Correct I was told GM used both for small block chevelles in 72? Do I need to lower the engine in the car and take some sort of measurement to the frame stand?

Width of the frame mount should tell you.
