Default Switching carb to FI

Do I need a vss signal if I'm doing a bare bones setup and I have a turbo 400 trans

You can get away with not having it, but it would help a lot when your slowing down and stopping, many have had issue of the engine dying or almost dying on coming to a stop.

The PCM can control the engine idle better if it know how fast the car is going.

Thanks when I built my turbo 400 I changed the output shaft and it takes a press on speedo gear instead of the plastic gear and clip that holds it

I might try it without a signal maybe keep the idle screw turned up a little
I still have stock cam and when I do put a cam it will be a small one so strong vacuum might help it from stalling
